SILVER HARE

ID# FOF01

THE FIRST OF OUR NEW RANGE OF STYLISH JEWELLERY CALLED

'FRIENDS OF FIELD AND FOREST'

THE HARE.

In ancient Britain the hare is strongly associated with the corn spirit. Hares often find shelter in corn fields until the reaping of the harvest, if a hare resides in your field until the last cut, it is a sign that the land has been blessed with fertility by the Earth Goddess for the following harvest. The last sheaf of corn to be cut was known as 'the hare' or 'cutting the hare'.

THE SMALL HARE IS APPROX 40mm X 10mm X 1.5mm thick.

THE LARGE HARE IS APPROX 50mm X 15mm X 1.5mm thick
